However, ongoing need for religious education has satisfied by madrasahs again, especially in rural area which is aside from central state power.

Kasım ayında TAM Sohbet programımız çerçevesinde Sözlü Tarih Konuşmaları başlıklı yeni bir seriye başlıyoruz. Tarih çalışmalarında kullanım alanı giderek yaygınlaşan buna mukabil gerek barındırdığı imkânlar ve gerekse metodolojik boyutu başta olmak üzere problemleri yeterince tartışılmayan “sözlü tarih”i bilimsel bir yöntem ve alt disiplin olarak ele almayı amaçladığımız bu seri konuşmalarda söz konusu hususları ilgili akademisyenlerle tartışmaya çalışacağız. Bu çerçevede ilk konuşmamızda Abdulhamit Kırmızı ile sözlü tarih çalışmalarının ana eksenlerinden birini teşkil eden oto/biyografinin temel sorunlarını ele alacağız.
