Küresel Araştırmalar Merkezi, Kahire Üniversitesi bünyesindeki "Center for Civilization Studies and Dialogue of Cultures" merkezi ile birlikte 15 Temmuz Cumartesi günü "The Future of the Middle East in the Aftermath of 'the Arab Spring and the Turkish Elections'" başlıklı uluslararası bir sempozyum gerçekleştirecektir. Mısır'dan dört, Türkiye'den iki akademisyenin tebliğ sunacağı sempozyumda, Arap coğrafyasında yaşanan ve yaşanmakta olan halk ayaklanmalarının ve Türkiye'de yapılan genel seçimlerin ardından Ortadoğu'nun geleceği tartışılacaktır. Toplantı dili İngilizcedir.
