The Global Research Center will be guesting writer, critic, sociologist Ahmet Demirhan in our September Book-Article program. We will discuss with Ahmet Demirhan how ancient Turkish history was constructed within the literature of Turkology, and what the founding figures, motifs, and narratives of Bozkır historiography are, within the framework of his latest book published by Dergah Publications, “Şaman ve Tengri: A ‘Steppe Historiography’ Critique.” The meeting will begin on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 14:00 in the Şakir Kocabaş Hall.
